Why can’t I upload my packaging components file to RAM Assess?

Why can’t I upload my packaging components file to RAM Assess?

To protect data quality and ensure a smooth experience, RAM Assess applies strict rules when files are uploaded. If you’re having trouble uploading your file, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

1. File type restriction

Only .xlsx Excel files are accepted. If you attempt to upload a different file type (e.g. .csv, .xls, .pdf), the system will block the upload and display an error message.

2. Header validation

RAM Assess checks that the column headers in your uploaded file exactly match the expected headers in our official template. This ensures your data can be mapped correctly and processed without issues. If headers are missing or renamed, the upload will be rejected.

3. Using the correct template

To avoid upload errors, always download and edit the official RAM Assess template provided within the platform. Editing your own version or changing formatting may cause problems during upload or validation.

What to do if you're still having issues:

  • Double-check that your file is saved as .xlsx

  • Re-download the latest template from RAM Assess and transfer your data into that file

  • Ensure column headers have not been changed

  • If problems persist, contact our support team at ram@clarity.eco
